It sounds almost like something is rattling around inside the motor. I would say you could have dropped something down in a cylinder or something, but the noise would be much worse. Just look around for something loose. 1) Sometimes the car does not want to turn over. If I turn the key FAST it will turn over and die. If I give it gas for a minute it will be fine. 2) I noticed a rapid clicking noise and it sounds like it is coming from the driver's side of the engine. It does not always happen.I have a 1991 Taurus sho 3.0 Yamaha. I just had my oil changed 100 miles ago with conventional 5w30. I now notice that the engine is making a ticking noise, sounds like the lifters, but it is loud. I can hear it when the hood is shut and when the hood is open, it is easier to hear. 2015 taurus sho non-pp I feel the engine noise inside the car. So, I checked the engine room. Is this normal? Problem? (no engine cover)
